Lesle Bright of We're Bright At Homeabout

Thanks for visiting We’re Bright At Home! I am Leslie- the photographer, writer, and project curator behind this blog. I do not take all of the credit for what goes on behind the scenes. My husband and I do the home renovation projects together and my youngest son tests the kid-friendly crafts and recipes for me.

about the author

I was born in Ohio and raised in Tennessee. My husband and I have been married since 1988. We have two sons, Jacob and Jackson. My husband and I have always done our own home repairs and renovations.

I have always loved creating things since I was a little girl. It all started when my grandmother taught me to sew at age 5. I don’t have just one or two hobbies, I have several. I started my handmade business, Nice Heart Gifts on Etsy in 2013.

about the blog

I started this website to share my love of baking/cooking, crochet, fashion and DIY. You will enjoy tutorials on crafts, wreath making, doll making, well, you get it! I am a very crafty person. I make a lot of different things for my blog. Comment on the posts that you like. I will go by those comments to decide what I post. I try to make budget friendly recipes for the most part. My husband and I have been renovating a farmhouse one room at a time. Plan to see those on the blog as well. I try to take as many pictures as possible for each project. Along with as many details throughout the tutorials I write. I recently added the fashion category to review the clothing subscription boxes I get from Stitch Fix and Trunk Club. I give my honest opinion about everything whether it is good or bad, like in this post.
