New Items At the Dollar TreeHave you heard the news? When you thought the Dollar Tree couldn’t get any better, they do! The new items at the Dollar Tree are a line of greeting cards by Expressions from Hallmark and Heartline a Hallmark company! I buy all of my greeting cards at the Dollar Tree. I have for years. Why spend as much money on a card that could have gone into the gift? Am I right? If you haven’t quickly figured it out, I’m a cheapskate. I’m always looking for a good deal. (more…)
This box marks 18 months since I first signed up for the Stitch Fix subscription clothing service. I still love it as much today as when I received my first box. So much so, that I receive a box every two weeks instead of once a month. If you would like to learn more about how to get started with Stitch Fix, you can go here. I asked my stylist to curate a bottoms only box for this Fix. I requested cargo pants, skinny jeans, and cargo shorts. On with this Stitch Fix review bottoms only.
I know it’s only July, BUT those of us that do the Fall and Winter craft shows know to be working on the things we want to sell way before the shows start. That’s why I am writing this post. I am bringing you 12 Christmas ornament ideas to make for craft shows. So I guess I just turned this into Christmas in July, huh? I have made and sold most of these at my craft shows. They have been really good sellers both at craft shows and online too.
I’m trying to play catch up with my Stitch Fix reviews for the summer. I have been getting a box every couple of weeks. This is Stitch Fix Summer Review #2. If you haven’t seen the first Summer box I got, you can check out the review here. I asked my stylist to send me some cute feminine Summer tops and a top to match a maxi skirt I got in a previous box a while back.
Welcome to the new Homeschool category on our blog! I started homeschooling our son last year. There were so many questions about what I needed to get started with homeschool. That’s why I wanted the first post in this category to be about exactly that, homeschool supply list. There are several things on it that you may not realize you will need.
I have gotten a little behind sharing my Summer Stitch Fix unboxings. I receive one every couple of weeks. It’s easy to get behind. Since I have already received a few boxes I am going to number each post. I can’t wait for you to see what I received in my Summer Stitch Fix #1 box.

How to make a farmhouse garland out of fabric
I am decorating our front porch for Independence Day. I decorated mason jars to go on it too. You can check it out here. I thought that I would do a quick tutorial on how to make a farmhouse garland for Independence Day. The best thing about this garland is that you don’t have to only use it once a year as a decoration for July 4th. It can be used with your farmhouse decor all year around. Read on to learn how to make this garland and to learn some ideas to use it for other holidays!
It was Jackson’s idea to make these cute rock monsters. He helped me with the title of this post, 8 Ultimate Painted Rock Monsters For Kids to Make Will Blow Your Mind.
I figured it would be too simple to catch his attention. Once I started painting the base colors of the rock monsters he got excited to give them silly faces. He came up with a few of the monsters by himself.
Hey Guys! My Spring Stitch Fix came! For this Fix, I asked for a Spring outfit with pretty feminine tops and pants, no jeans. I was hoping for a complete outfit. If you do not know what Stitch Fix is or you want to know how it works, check out this post. Are you ready to see what I got and how I feel about the items? Let’s get into it!
Stitch Fix Unboxing
I requested a full outfit with this Stitch Fix box. I normally do. I don’t care for random pieces that don’t match. To learn more about Stitch Fix check out this post. Let’s get started!
Stitch Fix Athleisure Review: In this Fix I wanted all the items I saw in one of the pictures on the Stitch Fix blog, except for the leggings. I have several pair of leggings that would go with this athleisure outfit. It’s the picture to the left (or above if you are on your phone). I have requested it each month for at least one of my boxes. I get two boxes a month in my subscription. My stylist hasn’t been able to find any of the pieces UNTIL THIS MONTH. I was SO excited when I opened my box!
I read the note that my stylist sent me. She said that she wasn’t able to find all of the pieces that are in the picture, but she found some that were REALLY close. Keep reading if you want to see what I got!
December is here and it is time for me to start sharing my Stitch Fix boxes with you! This was a great Fix! This is the Winter 2017 Stitch Fix Review – I threw my coat away at the end of last Winter so it would force me to buy a new one this year. I am bad for hanging on to everything for years. I requested for this Fix to be all coats.
