It’s time for another Stitch Fix review! If you do not know what Stitch Fix is, check out this post. I requested a full outfit. I wish I had requested full outfits when I started getting subscription boxes. I ended up with several pieces that do not go with anything. I request pieces that go together now. That is the whole reason I started receiving clothing subscriptions. I needed a new wardrobe that did not consist of all t-shirts and yoga pants. Seriously. I still wear t-shirts and yoga pants. Not everyday. I hope you get some inspiration out of this review.
Stitch Fix Unboxing
I requested a full outfit with this Stitch Fix box. I normally do. I don’t care for random pieces that don’t match. To learn more about Stitch Fix check out this post. Let’s get started!
Stitch Fix Athleisure Review: In this Fix I wanted all the items I saw in one of the pictures on the Stitch Fix blog, except for the leggings. I have several pair of leggings that would go with this athleisure outfit. It’s the picture to the left (or above if you are on your phone). I have requested it each month for at least one of my boxes. I get two boxes a month in my subscription. My stylist hasn’t been able to find any of the pieces UNTIL THIS MONTH. I was SO excited when I opened my box!
I read the note that my stylist sent me. She said that she wasn’t able to find all of the pieces that are in the picture, but she found some that were REALLY close. Keep reading if you want to see what I got!

December is here and it is time for me to start sharing my Stitch Fix boxes with you! This was a great Fix! This is the Winter 2017 Stitch Fix Review – I threw my coat away at the end of last Winter so it would force me to buy a new one this year. I am bad for hanging on to everything for years. I requested for this Fix to be all coats.

Christmas Ornament DIY
I hope you enjoy this step by step snow globe tutorial. Our family has always made at least one handmade Christmas ornament a year for our tree. It has been a tradition for a long time. Every one of them tells a story. I remember every story behind all of them. I wanted to share the Christmas ornament idea that my son, Jackson and I are making for our Christmas tree this year so you can create some memories of your own. It’s a full-length tutorial. It is super easy and affordable. I bought everything we needed to make the ornament at the Dollar Tree. So if you are looking for a cute handmade ornament to put together with your kids, your class or Sunday school class, read on. And of course, read on if you like super easy tutorials that will leave you with an adorable craft inthe end! Let’s get to the tutorial!
My family and I moved into our 2-story farm house back in 2010. This house was where my husband, Jim, grew up. Jim and I have been renovating the rooms one by one ever since. I could not wait to do a diy bathroom remodel on the downstairs bathroom. As you can see in the picture, it had not been updated probably since the 1950’s. There was green and yellow tile everywhere. I had never seen a yellow toilet until I saw that one. There was also a pink toilet in the upstairs bathroom. Nor had I never seen a pink toilet either.
Easy Weeknight Meal
This recipe, Mom’s Easy Meatloaf Recipe, is one of my own recipes that I have been using for 30 years. I have tweaked it here and there. I have learned of the substitutions that I can use if I am out of something. For example: If I am out of store-bought bread crumbs, I substitute with oatmeal, saltines or club crackers. If I’m low on ketchup, I add tomato sauce instead. That’s one of the reasons I have always used this recipe. It’s easy. Click here if you would like the printable PDF.
Make enough to have leftovers
I don’t know about you, but I like to make a big meal at least twice a week so there will be leftovers for a couple of days. I’m like all moms everywhere. I need quick and easy meals to cook during the busy week. That’s where this roast beef recipe comes in handy. It’s delicious and nutritious. I make it a few times a month. The prep work and clean-up are easy.
Welcome to my Valentine’s Day Deco Mesh Wreath Tutorial. All materials used in this tutorial are from the Dollar Tree. I wanted this wreath to look a little different. So I chose to do it in pink and red.

I wanted to share these adorable Dollar Tree personalized elves with you, as promised in my blog post from yesterday. You can read it here, if you missed it. I came across the cutest little plush elves at my local Dollar Tree. They only had 4 left, 2 boys and 2 girls. I have a Silhouette Cameo that I make t-shirts, signs, and cards. I decided to cut names and the year out of flocked heat transfer vinyl to personalize them.
I have been needing to clean all of the carpet upstairs for a while. It’s one of those things that isn’t that big of a deal when you actually start doing it. I have been dreading it because I don’t like the cleaner that the user’s manual for my machine suggests I use. It just doesn’t work and isn’t worth the money. Of course, the book has to make you feel like if you put anything else in your machine other than what they suggest, it will blowup on contact. I decided that I was going to take a leap of faith and find something different, something cheaper and dang it, I want a cleaner that smells better! That’s why I chose this easy DIY carpet cleaning solution.
Let’s make water bombs!
I have been trying to keep my son, Jackson, busy since he got out of school in May. We have been having so much fun testing out cool ideas to do outside. Keep an eye out! I will be posting some more of our summer activities very soon. This tutorial is on how to make water bombs. It is very easy, and they work up quick. All you need are three things: kitchen sponges, scissors, and rubber bands.
Today I am doing the easy pizza pretzel recipe tutorial. I thought I would make a tutorial for you because stuffing the inside of the pizza dough with cheese can get a little tedious. I wanted to try this recipe because you use canned pizza crust. Like I did in my biscuit dough donut tutorials (here and here), I wanted to try as many of these types of recipes to see if they are as good as actual homemade. I chose the pizza pretzel because my family and I LOVE pizza. We are picky when it comes to our pizza. So these guys had some big shoes to fill. Or big cheese to fill? Either way, fingers crossed that they are worthy. Before we start, I wanted to let you know that I bought Pillsbury canned pizza dough for this recipe. The crust baked up kind of sweet tasting like their canned crescent rolls. My husband and my youngest son didn’t care for it, but they liked the toppings. I have had the best luck with the Walmart brand of canned dough.
Learn how to make a quick no sew pincushion! Need a pincushion in a pinch? Try this easy no sew version. Out of all of the craft, crochet and sewing supplies I have on hand, I realized one day that I didn’t have a pincushion. I was just using the plastic box that my stick pins came in. I was going to make a sock monkey and decided that having a pincushion would make the process a little easier. I didn’t want to take the time to go out to buy one. I decided that I would make it without having to sew it by hand or run it through the sewing machine.
