This box marks 18 months since I first signed up for the Stitch Fix subscription clothing service. I still love it as much today as when I received my first box. So much so, that I receive a box every two weeks instead of once a month. If you would like to learn more about how to get started with Stitch Fix, you can go here. I asked my stylist to curate a bottoms only box for this Fix. I requested cargo pants, skinny jeans, and cargo shorts. On with this Stitch Fix review bottoms only.
DEAR JOHN George Cargo Short
Dear John is one of my favorite Stitch Fix brands. They are like one of my other favorite Stitch Fix brands, Kut From The Kloth, they run big. I have to go down a size. These shorts (similar here) are exactly what I asked for. I love them! They were too big. I exchanged them for the next size down. They fit perfectly. Another thing I like about the Dear John brand is that they are high quality. I have four other Dear John pieces and they still look as good as the day I received them. They have been washed several times too. Kept.
TINSEL Millicent Printed Short
I have to say that I am not a fan of green or yellow or loud printed shorts (similar here) for that matter. These are going out of my comfort zone a little bit. However, they fit perfectly. I loved that about them. The quality was on point. I couldn’t get past the colors and the print. Returned.
LIVERPOOL Nicole Skinny Pant
Liverpool is another great brand from Stitch Fix. This is one of my favorite brands for jeans (similar here) They fit perfectly. I requested white skinny jeans. My stylist sent me exactly that. By the time I requested these jeans until the time I received them, it got really hot here in Tennessee. I didn’t want to spend $88 on jeans that I probably wouldn’t wear until the Fall. Returned.
PISTOLA Topanga Cargo Zipper Detail Skinny Pant
These cargo pants (similar here) are exactly what I asked for. I love the detail, pockets, and zippers. They are the perfect athleisure piece. My bubble was quickly popped. The right size was sent, but they were a couple of sizes too small. You can see the difference in all of the bottoms I was sent in the feature photo above this post. They are all the same size but look like different sizes. I wanted to exchange these for a bigger size. Stitch Fix was sold out. Returned.
LILA RYAN Sevilla Linen Jogger Pant
I normally don’t care for joggers (similar here) with elastic at the bottom of the legs. These were actually comfortable, a little too comfortable. I don’t like the looks of these. They are too baggy and look like something my Grandma would’ve worn in the seventies. They are of high quality. Do I need to mention the price tag? OUCH! No thank you. Returned.
That completes my review for the month of June. I’m a couple of reviews away from being caught up with my Summer boxes! I want to add that you can give Stitch Fix gift cards to your friends and family so they can try the service. You can choose the gift card to be emailed, sent by mail or print at home. Maternity and Plus Size clothing is also an option with Stitch Fix.
