Stitch Fix Unboxing

I requested a full outfit with this Stitch Fix box. I normally do. I don’t care for random pieces that don’t match. To learn more about Stitch Fix check out this post. Let’s get started!

TINSEL Chapleen Cargo Jacket

I really like this jacket. I had been wanting one for a long time. I love everything about it, the fit, color and over all look was great.  I didn’t keep it because I had just bought one like it from Nordstrom a month prior.

NOISY MAY Yasmin Open Back Detail Knit Top

This top confused me. The fabric reminded me of a cheap Santa hat that you get from the dollar store. The sleeves were weird. they were long enough, but I did not like how the bottom part went so far up. The back made no sense at all. there is a cut out. The cut out is so low that my bra was in full view. Why do you need a cutout that shows your back in a long-sleeved top? I don’t know about you, but when it is cold outside, I want to be warm. I have no need for big holes in my clothes. The two positive things about this top is that the color is pretty and it was very warm. Over all, I just did not like it. I sent it back.

KUT FROM THE KLOTH Miles Skinny Jean

Kut From The Kloth jeans are my favorite brand of jeans. They are comfortable and do not fade as quickly as some of the other more expensive jeans. That’s why I have several pairs of this brand. That is the reason that I did not keep these. I love them. I don’t need another pair of them. I returned them.

SOLE SOCIETY Paislee Suede Buckle Bootie

These booties are very cute. The bad thing about them is the price versus the quality. They are just too expensive for how they are made. The tag on them said that they were made of suede, but they seemed almost cardboard like to me. I’m not sure what kind of suede they were. They are not worth $99 in my opinion. I returned them.

LE LIS Remington One Pocket Top

This was my favorite out of everything in the box. I love the red plaid. The top is so soft. It hung just right. I returned it, though. Here’s why, I get these boxes because I want to add nicer pieces to my wardrobe. I want to look more put together. Before I started getting these subscription boxes I lived in t-shirts and yoga pants or jeans. I don’t care for the price of $58 either. I have seen these tops for half that at the mall. Even though I loved this shirt, I sent it back.

If you have been keeping score you already noticed that I didn’t keep anything in my box this time. Every box isn’t always a winner. I have bought most of the fixes that I have received since I started receiving Stitch Fix. I do want you to know that if you send the whole fix back you will lose your $20 styling fee. I didn’t have to pay a styling fee because I took advantage of a promotion that Stitch Fix had going on a couple of months ago. I paid $49 for the year so I wouldn’t have to pay a styling fee every month.  Click here to have your styling fee waived on your first Stitch Fix box!
